How to get there

From the A64 take the A1037 signed York North & Copmanthorpe. At the roundabout take the 4th exit and then take the first turning on the left into Copmanthorpe. Follow the road until the t-junction (there will be a row of shops in front of you) and turn right onto Main Street. Follow through the village (you'll go past the Royal Oak pub) taking a left hand turn onto Station Road. Stay on this road, go over the railway bridge, carry on down the road, eventually there will be Foss Feeds on your left and finally you will reach a staggered cross roads. Drive straight over the cross roads heading towards Acaster Malbis, carry on following the road. Chestnut Farm is on your left hand side after a series of sharp bends. There's a sign on a brick wall - you will see four wooden lodges at the entrance, go up the drive and the car park is just by reception.
