PARK RULES FOR GARTH FAWR FARM
- The mobile home Owner must ensure All gas appliances must be safety checked on an annual basis (once every 12 months) by a gas safe registered engineer.
- The mobile home Owner must ensure all electrical appliances are PAT Tested every 5 years by an appropriately trained electrician. The frequency of the PAT testing required may be dependent on the appliance, all applianced must be checked in accordance with HSE's,guidelines. More information can be found at hse.gov,uk
- The mobile home Owner must ensure that an audible carbon monoxide alarm Is fitted in every room where a gas appliance or log burner is present. Carbon Monoxide Alarms must be checked on a weekly basis.
- Where applicable the mobile home owner must ensure that chimneys are swept top to bottom once every 12 months.
- The mobile home owner ensure that any work carried out in relation to gas appliances in domestic or commercial premises is to be undertaken by a Gas Safe Registered engineer, competent in that area of work.
- The mobile home owners to ensure all mobile homes are suitably fitted with smoke alarms.
- The mobile home owner must ensure that fire alarms are checked in accordance with the below:
Once a week - Test your smoke alarm each week by pressing the test button on the alarm.
Every six months - Every six months you should open the case and gently vacuum the inside to remove dust from the sensor. If the smoke alarm doesn't open, vacuum through the holes.
Once a year - Change the battery every year (unless it is a ten year alarm) or when you need to.
Replacement - Replace the battery in your smoke alarm if the low battery warning sounds (an intermittent bleep). It is also best to replace smoke alarms with completely new units after ten years.
- The mobile home owners or occupants must not attempt to tackle a fire unless suitably trained. In the event of a fire, all occupants must evacuate the mobile home site, using the designated fire escape route (detailed in the fire escape plan), call 999 and wait at the Fire Assembly point until the emergency services arrive.
