East Hill Park Rules
1. The speed limit for all vehicles, including bicycles, using the roadways, within the Park shall he 5 mph.
2. No commercial vehicles except private light goods, registered for own private use, and not to exceed 14 and half feet in length and 6 feet in width, shall be brought onto and parked upon any of the roadways, communal car parks or areas adjoining or belonging to any pitch.
3. The only permissible maintenance or repair to any mechanically propelled vehicles will be in respect of those vehicles being the property of an Occupier of the Park, and then only in the case of emergency or for minor running repairs.
4. Occupiers or visitors' vehicles shall be parked in the communal car park only and not left on any of the roadways within the Park at any time save for loading /unloading vehicles for a short period of time, will be permitted.
5. All vehicles including bicycles shall carry and show lights at both front and rear when using the roadways within the Park at night and must not be left standing.
6. Minors are forbidden to drive any mechanically propelled vehicle within the perimeter of the Park.
7. No children are allowed to live on the Park. Visiting children are not allowed to play on the roadways, car parks or to enter the gardens of other Occupiers or to disturb the general tranquillity of the Park, and not allowed to play on the contractors machines, plant or materials.
8. The processing or manufacture of any materials brought onto the Park from outside sources is forbidden except when such goods or materials are to be used on the Park for maintenance and /or improvement of the Occupiers' homes, outbuildings or gardens,
9. The goods and property of the Occupier are to be kept fully insured at all times and no unused vehicle is to be kept or stored in the Park.
10. Nothing shall be done, or permitted to make it difficult to move the Mobile Home on its wheels, save for the Mobile Home may rest on jacks or concrete blocks.
11. The Mobile Home shall not be used for the accommodation of more persons that the number of berths provided at the time of manufacture.
12. The Mobile Home of the Occupier must be maintained in a good state of repair and in good condition, and must be a type and size approved by the Site Owner. No built on porches are permitted n Mobile Homes without the prior written approval of the Site Owner, consent will not be unreasonably withheld and a decision to be given within 30 days.
13. The Occupier must keep the land underneath and around the Mobile Home clean and free from rubbish, and the garden clean and tidy and free from weeds.
14. Only the following pets are permitted:
(a) Not more than 1 dog (a dog of any of the breeds subject to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1995 is not permitted). Any dog must be kept under proper control and must be kept on a leash not exceeding 1 m in length and must not be allowed to despoil the Park.
(h) Not more than 1 number domestic cat. Any cat must be kept under proper control and must not be permitted to frighten other users of the Park, and must not be allowed to despoil the Park.
(c) You are permitted to keep any pet or animal that are housed in a cage, aquarium or similar and remain at all times within your home. All pets and animals, excluding cats, are to be kept at all times within your pitch,
(d) Nothing in this rule prevents you from keeping an assistance dog, if this is required to support your disability and Assistance Dogs UK or any successor body has issued you with an Identification Book or other appropriate evidence.
15. The deposit of any refuse, litter or rubbish of any kind on any of the Site Owner's land is strictly prohibited. Household refuse must be placed in appropriate bins.
16. The Occupier, his family, friends and visitors must not do anything which may be, or become or grow to be a damage, nuisance or annoyance to the Site Owner or other users of the Park or to cause any damage to the Site Owner's property.
17. No washing lines are allowed but the Occupier may have a rotary dryer located in a position to be determined by the Site Owner, consent not to be unreasonably withheld and a decision to be given within 30 days,
18. The electrical and gas installations in the Mobile Homes shall at all times comply with the requirements of the institutes of Electrical and Gas engineers respectively and the local electricity and gas boards, No interference with the Site Owner's electric meters, wiring or ancillary equipment is permitted.
19. No fences are permitted unless you have obtained the prior written approval of the Site Owner, approval will not be unreasonably withheld and a decision to be given within 30 days.
20. You must not have more than one storage shed on the pitch. Where you source the shed yourself the design, standard and size of the shed must be approved by the Site Owner in writing (approval will not be withheld or delayed unreasonably). You must position the shed so as to comply with the Park's site licence and fire safety requirements.
21. No person under the age of 45 years may permanently reside in a Mobile Home on the Park, but adults and children are allowed as visitors to the Park.
