PARK RULES FOR OLD MILL PARK
In these rules ‘the Management’ means Old Mill Park Limited &/or such persons as may be appointed by them to manage the Park, ‘OWNERS’ means the owner of a Boutique Modern “Edge”.
These regulations are designed to ensure the smooth running of the Parks & to enable all persons using the facilities to obtain the maximum benefit from their “Edge”.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
- All users of the Park must observe these Rules & also any By-‐laws applying to the Park made by the Local Authority.
- No business, profession or trade shall be carried out or conducted from the Park. No “Edge” may be occupied as a Residence, i.e., it may only be used as holiday accommodation.
- No fires may be lit on the park under any circumstances whatsoever.
- The Owner is advised that when using a barbecue he/she must ensure that it does not cause offence to neighbours due to unwanted smells. ALSO the Owner must ensure that the fire is not within 10 ft of any building or “Edge” vehicle or within 15 ft of a gas container.
- No “Edge” may be used for sleeping more than a reasonable number of persons. The Management shall be the sole judge of what is a reasonable number for each type of unit. Motor vehicles may not be used for sleeping purposes.
- Only two vehicles may be parked alongside or near an “Edge”, any additional vehicles must be parked where indicated by Management. Motor vehicles must not be driven at speeds in excess of 5 mph. Vehicles on the Park require full road tax & insurance cover as it is regarded as being PUBLIC ACCESS. All vehicles must be adequately insured. No commercial vehicle may be parked on the park. Large vehicles e.g., motorhomes, trailers and boats, may be parked at the Management’s discression.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead & exercised off the Park. Any fouling of the grounds must be removed. Dogs must be kept under close control so as not to cause annoyance or nuisance to other occupiers or persons on the Park. Dogs must be removed forthwith if required by the Management. Management reserve the right to require any antisocial dog or dog causing a nuisance to be removed from the park.
- Trees, hedges, shrubs & ditches must not be interfered with under any circumstance.
- Wireless &/or TV apparatus, record/cassette/CD players, or any musical instruments must be used with due & proper regard for the other occupiers of the Park.
- No person may discharge any firearms or airgun or throw or discharge any stone, missile or set fire to any fireworks on the Park.
- Owners must at all times conduct themselves with due regard to the comfort & convenience of other Occupiers of the Park & shall not indulge in indecent or offensive language or conduct. Children should be supervised at all times.
- Owners must comply with reasonable instructions & requests made by the Management with regard to sanitary & other matters, in particular litter & refuse must be disposed of in the Refuse Disposal Point bins. Recycling is carried out on the Park and Owners are requested to separate rubbish/bottles/ paper and plastic. No solid or liquid deposit should be thrown in or allowed to fall in any ditch or hedge adjoining the Park.
- The Management shall not be liable for any loss, damage or theft to or from an “Edge” or a vehicle and will not accept liability for any injury sustained by any person using the leisure facilities provided on the Park.
- For use in case of emergency, a spare key for an “Edge” must be left with the Management.
- If requested the Owner shall afford the Management, the medical health officer or other official authorised by Management facilities for the inspection of the “Edge” and the Plot at all reasonable times.
- Every “Edge” must have readily available a fire extinguisher of a type & design approved by the Fire Service.
- Your “Edge” must be covered by adequate insurance at the Owners Expense. The Owner will provide Old Mill park Limited with a copy of the insurance certificate. Insurance cover must comply with Clause 4.5 of the Licence Agreement.
- The Management reserve the right to make additions or amendments to these Rules at any time, such amendments & conditions come into effect immediately they are posted on the Park notice board.
- To comply with the Park licence, “Edge” Owners must have a main residence off the Park and cannot claim residence on the Park.
- The Management would ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 11 pm and 7.30 am.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
- The nearest telephone is at The Old Mill which neighbours the Park.
- In the event of fire: Sound the fire alarm by ringing one of the fire bell located on the park. Please see site map on the park notice board.
- Doctors and other telephone numbers are posted on each notice board at the entrance to each field.
- The nearest Hospitals are:
- The Eastbourne and District Hospital, King Drive, Eastbourne BN21 2UD. 01323 417400
- The Lewes Victoria Hospital, Nevill Road, Lewes BN7 1PF which has a Minor Injuries Unit. 01273 474153
- The entrance gate will be closed and locked between the hours of 11.30 pm and 7.00 am. It is the responsibility of all Owners who arrive or leave the Park during those hours to ensure that the gate is locked behind them using their remote control.
