Morrisons Supermarket is a short walk away.
Situated just off the A61 Ripon to Harrogate Road the two Parks share the same entrance. Quarry Moor is an established Park and its sister - New Park- was developed from scratch in the mid 1980's.
Introducing our new residential development for the over 50's at Quarry Moor, on the outskirts of the lovely Cathedral City, Ripon, which is close to a good range of amenities, including shops, supermarkets, swimming pool and the usual facilities found in a small town. There is an excellent local bus service, with a bus stop at the entrance to the Parks, and a wide range of banks. Good health services are also to hand.
A select development offering an excellent mix of properties, Aldermans Meadow is named after the Alderman Thomas F Spence who donated Quarry Moor nature reserve to the citizens of Ripon in 1945, the reserve has been held in trust since and is now a most valued attraction, which is situated next door to Quarry Moor Park.
Both Parks are for the over fifties and benefit from their secluded location; they are bordered by trees and upon leaving the A61 the outside world seems a million miles away!
A twenty minute walk into Ripon, but for the less energetic, there is a bus stop directly outside the entrance of the park and a regular bus service runs between Ripon and Harrogate every 15 minutes. Morrisons Supermarket is a short walk away.
